Special Welding Material Branch of Jiangyin Dongqing Welding Material Co., Ltd. Established, focusing on cobalt-based alloy wires and electrodes for hardfacing.

Adopting water atomization technology, the company successfully produced nickel-based alloy series powder.

Due to business expansion, the company added a new horizontal continuous casting production line for cobalt-based alloy welding wires, reaching a monthly production capacity of 10 tons.

Due to the head office’s business adjustments and the company’s development needs, Jiangyin Chengqing Alloy Material Co., Ltd. was established.

The company’s newly built flux-cored (tubular) welding wire production line was officially put into operation, mainly producing 410 series and 316 series flux-cored wires, as well as submerged arc and open arc hardfacing wires dedicated for valves.

The company independently designed and manufactured a full-automatic dedicated welding system through long-term research and testing based on the hardfacing characteristics of the valve industry. The system is applicable to GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas Welding) processes. In particular, the TIG wire feeder is an original innovation of the company and has obtained the national patent ZL 2020 2 2547185.1.

Adopting advanced Osprey gas atomization and gas cooling (high-purity nitrogen) technology, the company successfully produced cobalt-based alloy welding powder series.

The company successfully developed plasma spray welding equipment, which is suitable for the plasma transferred arc (PTA) hardfacing process in the valve industry.

Launched the exclusive foreign trade brand SAM with dedicated personnel handling international business. The products are sold far to Europe, America, India, Japan and other regions.

The company successfully developed special circumferential welding equipment for the valve industry, applied to the automatic welding of valve seats and valve bodies.

The original production line for Cobalt-based Rod was successfully upgraded to a single-furnace three-line model.

The company built new self-owned factory premises and established Jiangyin Kelaidi Welding Technology Co., Ltd. Meanwhile, a new horizontal continuous casting production line was added, which greatly improved the production capacity of cobalt-based welding materials and significantly shortened the delivery cycle.

Combining plasma and TIG hardfacing processes, the company has successively designed and developed special equipment for three-eccentric hard-seal butterfly valve hardfacing, valve body inner sealing surface hardfacing, and hot wire hardfacing.
